SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRATIC COMMITTEE ENDORSES MICHELE FRAZIER FOR NYS SENATE

(Monticello, NY) - At its nomination convention, held on the evening of Thursday, February 26, 2026, the Sullivan County Democratic Committee (SCDC) endorsed Michele Frazier to be its Democratic Party candidate for NYS Senate District 51. SCDC’s endorsement follows Ulster County Democratic Committee’s endorsement in mid-February.

“I would like to thank the Sullivan County Democratic Committee for endorsing me. I’m running because families throughout upstate New York, and the 51st District, are facing huge affordability challenges. Recently, the Benjamin Center at SUNY New Paltz reported that in an area that includes Sullivan County, half of all households are living paycheck to paycheck, and 15% face shutoffs for unpaid utility bills. This is unacceptable and I’m here to stand up and fight for every one of them,” said Frazier.
